Attestation of Export Documents

Bombay Chamber of Commerce & industry is officially authorized by the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India to issue Certificate of Origin in respect of goods exported from India. The Bombay Chamber also attests Commercial documents and Export Documents like Invoices, Packing List, Declaration etc. as required by the applicant for facilitating their trade activities.

Bombay Chamber has launched a new portal for offering Certificate of Origin services – Over the Counter (Offline) as well as Online. The Online mode will save time, effort and cost of getting CO attestation.

An exporter needs to register itself on the Online platform. Members* of Bombay Chamber as well as Non Members can avail this service. There is NO registration fee for Members of Bombay Chamber and existing Non Members which are using CO services. There is NO registration fees for newly Exporters who wish to register with Bombay Chamber of Commerce and Industry as Non Members.

The Director General of Foreign Trade has recently revised the fees for issuance of Non-preferential Certificate of Origin (as per Amendment in Para 2.108 (c) (iv) of Handbook of Procedures, 2015-20) at Rs.200/- (incl of taxes). The charges will be applicable for both members and non-members. The new rates has been effective from 01st April 2024 for our online as well as over the counter COO services through Bombay Chamber’s portal. Customers can avail Certificate of Origin (Non Preferential Services) from DGFT portal by choosing agency as BOMBAY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY. Link : https://www.trade.gov.in/
