URGENT request for supply of 20,800 MT Medium Grain Parboiled Nadu Rice to Sri Lanka – Procurement Notice STC/SCAPC/2024/001 and 5,200 MT Medium Grain Parboiled Nadu Rice to Sri Lanka – Procurement Notice STC/MPC/2024/002

I wish to inform you that, the Sri Lanka State Trading (General) Corporation Limited, which is a fully Government owned self-financed Corporation operated under the Ministry of Trade, Commerce Food Security and co-operative Development has invited sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for 20,800 metric tons Medium Grain Parboiled Nadu Rice.

Bidding will be conducted under the International Competitive Bidding process as follows:

5,200Medium Grain Parboiled Nadu Rice	As per the delivery schedule	From 16 /12/ 2024 up to 22/01/2025	1% of Bid value in USD (up to 01.02.2025)	On or before 16th December 2024 at 10:00 a.m. (Sri Lanka local time GMT+5:30).

Please find attached herewith a copy of the procurement notices of the above.

It would be highly appreciated, if you could kindly make necessary arrangements to disseminate the above urgent request of rice import to Sri Lanka among your membership, informing them to keep the Mission informed of their applications by tomorrow.
