  3. Mentoring for Enrichment (ME)...

The last few years have been transformative for many businesses. Our core belief as Bombay Chamber has always been in supporting the development of different industries and businesses.

We are excited to inform you that the Bombay Chamber’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee has been conducting a series of mentoring programs for women professionals and their allies. We hope that these programs will bring more value to our future women leaders.

In continuation to our efforts in strengthening our DEI impact, specifically in the field of gender diversity, we are back with our second edition of the Mentoring for Enrichment (ME) Program.

This is a great opportunity for anyone who is interested to connect with a mentor who can offer their insight, advice and help navigate through their professional careers. Research says that professionals with mentors are 5 times more likely to achieve career growth.

We invite prospective mentors and mentees to participate in this four month ‘Mentoring for Enrichment (ME)’ Program 2025 which we will launch in January 2025. The Program will include 4 one-to-one sessions with the mentor for approximately 1 and half hour each month.

The expertise and attributes needed for mentors as a part of the program:

Preferred Background of mentor:

Industry experience of at least 15-20 years
Domain expert in any area (Please mention your area of expertise in the form)
Probable attributes of mentor:

Respectful, and open to ideas
Eagerness to Invest in others
The Ability to Give Honest and Direct Feedback
Reflective Listening and Empathy
Willingness to Be a Sponsor
The Program investment for each mentee will be Rs. 4000/- plus taxes. At the end of the Program, the mentees will be awarded a certificate of participation and the mentors will be awarded a certificate of appreciation. Last day for participation is January 20, 2025.

This year, mentors and mentees will also be invited to attend the third edition of our DEI Awards in June where they can interact with their peers and exchange learnings from the program.
