The Chamber has formed various Trusts and support associations for specific purposes. They are:-
- Bombay Chamber of Commerce & Industry Trust for Economic & Management Studies (BCTEMS)
- Bombay City Policy Research Foundation (BCPRF)
- Mumbai Arts & Crafts Foundation Trust (MACFT)
Bombay City Policy Research Foundation (BCPRF)
The Bombay Chamber established the Foundation in 1995 to sponsor, promote and support policy initiatives for the betterment of Bombay and welfare of its inhabitants and to make the city a better place to live, work or visit. While the Foundation is primarily engaged in research, its advocacy functions are done by Bombay First, which is registered separately under The Societies Act. Currently, Bombay First operates from leased offices in the Y B Chavan Pratishthan while the BCPRF functions from the Chamber offices.
Bombay Chamber Trust for Economic and Management Studies (BCTEMS)
The Bombay Chamber of Commerce and Industry Trust for Economic & Management Studies was constituted on August 27, 1996 by the Bombay Chamber of Commerce and Industry with a view to undertaking independent research activities of various economic and management issues for providing analytical view on macro-economic scenario, industrial performance and other relevant issues.
