The Company’s productivity and profitability is bound to go up when the employees are engaged and able to cope with stress with equanimity. Employees thrive in stress when they optimize time and are able to focus and concentrate with a goal-oriented mindset in a positive work environment.

Stress is a way of life; there is bound to be some level of stress in our life. Therefore, understanding the cause and effects of stress, identifying personal stressors, developing coping mechanisms, work-life balance techniques, are important. In addition relaxation methods like deep breathing and mindfulness meditation, healthy lifestyle habits, positive self-talk, conflict resolution strategies, are all aimed at building resilience and managing stress effectively in the workplace & personal life.

Mindfulness techniques, like mindful breathing, body scans, and mindful eating, can be incorporated into meditation practices to maintain a healthy lifestyle by promoting present moment awareness. Reducing stress by regulating one’s emotion, allowing them to better manage their thoughts and feelings in daily life.
All these make a difference in managing stress and increasing productivity in personal and professional life.

Training Objectives

  1. To sensitize participants about stress as a way of life
  2. To help participants understand the cause and symptoms of stress
  3. To strengthen their ability to learn ways to avoid stress and to deal with it when it occurs, understanding and navigating their feelings
  4. To help them to cope with stress in a way that reduces the risk of stress-related health issues
  5. To sensitize them to develop strategies to acquire work life balance and build resilience in the workplace to foster a positive work environment
  6. To provide techniques of Mindfulness, meditation; tips and practices to stay in the present

Training Content

1. Understanding Stress:
Defining stress and its impact on physical and mental health.
Identifying common workplace stressors (deadlines, heavy workload, interpersonal conflicts)
Recognizing personal stress triggers and early warning signs
2. Causes of stress:
Stress may be caused due to relationship difficulties, work related, finances, health, and life events -the causes of stress can vary from person to person
3. Stress Management Techniques:
Cognitive Restructuring: Challenging negative self-talk, reframing situations positively
Relaxation Techniques: Deep breathing exercises, progressive muscle relaxation
Physical Activity: Importance of regular exercise and movement breaks
4. Managing time to manage Stress: Prioritization, effective task delegation, setting realistic deadlines
5. Work Life Balance:
Enjoyment & achievement in personal and professional life
Feeling fulfilled and content in both areas of your life
Finding a balance to excel in your professional life while also maintaining a fulfilling personal life.
6. Mindfulness and healthy life style:
Improved emotional regulation:
Mindfulness practices can help you better identify and manage your emotions, leading to more stable moods.

Training Methodology

Active and lively training methods like Game, Role Play, Case Study, Discussion will be used.

Speaker

Dr. Lata Shetty is the founder of Mainstream HRD Training Centre. She has conducted more than 70,000 batches in more than 150 companies and organizations with 25 years of experience. Her qualification is B.Sc., M.S.W, and Ph D from Tata Institute of Social Science, Certified NLP Practitioner. Dr. Lata Shetty is a Resource person at the Bombay Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the last 20 years. She is a regular faculty at several training centres of financial institutions like SPBT and BSE. She was a Columnist in Lok Satta – Lok mudra on HRD topics for 2 years; a Faculty at Orchid a Finishing School; faculty at Tata Institute of Social Science, visiting faculty at Somaiya Institute of Management. Worked as Head of Welfare Department in Godrej & Boyce for 4 years.

Dr. Shetty has covered all levels of employees ranging from senior managers, middle management, Professionals like Chartered Accountants (ICAI in Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai), Medical Doctors in Corporate hospitals and such others.
