Introduction

According to the World Health Organization, such situations are often sudden and unexpected; they could involve a threat to life, as well as physical or emotional loss.Certain unpredictable incidents at workplace like workplace accidents to natural disasters or losing a colleague or mind health issues related behavior,retrenchment and others can have powerful impact on employees and their families.It is imperative to have chalked out plans in place so that you can behave in appropriate way to safeguard the employee and organisation. It can cause considerable distress for the employee and also impact other colleagues and family.

Speaker Profile

Malini Shah – Therapist and Psychologist with over 22 years of experience. She is the Cofounder of AasthaChrysalis –  Counseling Center in Mumbai and is involved in individual consultation, psychometric assessments and development center programs .She is an EAP professional for various companies , visiting counselor to different organizations. She is a Post Graduate from Mumbai University in Counseling , Certified Trainer in Presentation Skills form Delta College Michigan and Situational Self Leadership II from Ken and Blanchard.

Methodology

The workshop will be an Interactive session with case studies, self awareness exercises, role plays ,group discussion and presentation,and audio visual media . Handout of the session will be provided for reference.
