The Bombay Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Legal Affairs & IPR Committee), in association with the Technology Law Forum (TLF) is organising a webinar on ‘Internet of Things (IoT) – Implications for the Legal Framework’ on Tuesday 31st January 2023 from 3.30 p.m. to 5.00 p.m. (through zoom).

Context:

Given the pervasiveness of technology in modern life, regulating technology is increasingly a policy focus of the Government. With this view, the Chamber has undertaken an initiative to increase awareness of the emerging legal regulatory landscape in the area of technology.

Internet of Things (IoT):

Technology impacts every aspect of our lives- the way we work, how we interact socially and how we entertain ourselves. Machine to Machine communication/Internet of Things is the next revolution of interconnectedness and a most topical issue for businesses and professionals to understand.

This webinar presents a unique multi-disciplinary approach with:

  • Technology expert outlining the possible impact of IoT and related technologies including 5G, AI etc.
  • Technology lawyers highlighting implications for the legal framework

The webinar will address:

  • What new opportunities and challenges will IOT and related advanced technologies present to business and industry? What use cases?
