Inflation rate has remained above RBI’s Upper tolerance level of 6% for the Fifth consecutive month reaching the height of overall Inflation rate at 7.04% (Combined Rural and Urban) based on CPI and Inflation rate at 7.97% for Food & Beverages ( Combined Rural and Urban ) Based on Consumer Food Price Index (CFPI).
