The Goods and Services Tax Network (GSTN) introduced the Invoice Management System (IMS) on October 14, 2024, to revolutionize the way taxpayers manage and reconcile purchase invoices for Input Tax Credit (ITC) claims. IMS provides a dynamic, real-time interface within the GST portal that enables recipient taxpayers to accept, reject, or keep invoices pending-facilitating more accurate and timely ITC reconciliation and compliance.
