I wish to inform you that the Women’s Chamber of Industry and Commerce (WCIC), the premier National Chamber for Women is pleased to announce the launch of its flagship property, “The Women Entrepreneurs Awards 2024“ to recognize and reward the outstanding women entrepreneurs.
The Award consist of a special category for the entrepreneurs from the SAARC region which gives opportunity for Women Entrepreneurs of these countries to be a part of this prestigious programme.
The eligibility criteria are as follows;
· 51% Ownership by a SAARC Region Woman
· 100% Women Owned Business with one third(1/3) or more held by a SAARC Region Woman
· One third (1/3) or more ownership by a SAARC Region Woman with significant management involvement – Chairperson/Director/CEO/MD
· Conforming to the above any-national with duly registered well establishes business operating over 5 years is eligible
WCIC will bear the following costs for the overall SAARC Winner to attend the Awards Ceremony to be held in Colombo in January 2024.
· One economy class airfare
· 2 nights stay/ double room on BB basis at a Five Star Hotel
· Airport pick up and drop off
· 2 Tickets to the event
