Jon Chan co-leads the EMEIA eDiscovery team of almost 50 professionals, as well as leading on eDiscovery innovation globally, creating new solutions using a mixture of off-the-shelf products, with custom software development. For over 15 years, Jon has worked across all areas of the EDRM, having orchestrated complex forensic collection exercises in dawn raid, and public inquiry work, designed numerous data processing workflows, and architecting and managing reviews, with a specific focus on extending eDiscovery tooling to create custom solutions for handling complex data. As one of the first users of modern analytics in eDiscovery in the UK, Jon has been at the forefront of the application of AI. Jon leads the largest dedicated UK eDiscovery innovation team creating a range of custom solutions using modern cloud technologies including computer vision and natural language processing. Most recently, Jon is leading FTI’s Generative AI efforts in eDiscovery which includes evaluation of products, as well as developing FTI’s own solutions taking a multi-model and cloud agnostic approach.
