Young Bombay Forum (YBF) a youth wing of Bombay Chamber of Commerce and Industry, is the Chamber’s response to the emergence of young leaders in the spheres of Business. Rajiv Anand is a seasoned banking leader with over 35 years of experience across Indian and global financial services, spanning capital markets, asset management, retail and wholesale banking, and digital banking. Known for his strong institution-building and governance focus, he has played a key role in driving growth and transformation.
He spent 16 years with the Axis Bank Group, joining in 2009 as the founding CEO of Axis Asset Management Company. He later served on the Axis Bank Board and led its Retail Banking business before becoming Deputy Managing Director, overseeing Wholesale and Digital Banking until his retirement in 2025.
Rajiv currently serves as President (2025–26) of the Bombay Chamber of Commerce and Industry and is a member of the CII National Committee on Banking. He is a Commerce graduate and a Chartered Accountant.
