Why This. Why Now

Most finance teams are not standing still; they are stuck. Adoption has roughly doubled since 2023, but the majority of it is individuals pasting fragments into a chatbot on a personal account. Only a small minority have AI running inside a core workflow. Thus structured understanding of strategic business cases where AI can help is becoming critical

87%

of CFOs expect AI to be very or extremely important to finance operations this year

17%

of finance teams have AI running in a core workflow rather than a pilot

68%

of CFOs say they have been slow to adopt because they don’t know where to start

85%

of CFOs feel that AI in finance can actually be a business growth driver
