Young Bombay Forum ( YBF) a youth wing of Bombay Chamber of Commerce and Industry was born on the 172nd Foundation Day of the Chamber in the year 2007. The YBF is the Chamber’s response to the emergence of young leaders in the spheres of business, entertainment and politics. The YBF is working towards VISION of nurturing young leaders in India to become globally competitive and contribute towards nation – building and the MISSION of creating a forum of choice for them to achieve professional excellence and act as change agents for inclusive and sustainable development.
The Young Bombay Forum seeks to harness the energy and leadership potential inherent in its membership by encouraging participation in developmental and leadership activities, offering mentoring opportunities and creating a framework for networking outside industry fora. R. MUKUNDAN
Managing Director & CEO of Tata Chemicals Ltd.
Mr. R. Mukundan, Managing Director & CEO of Tata Chemicals Limited, joined Tata Administrative Service in 1990, after completion of MBA from FMS, Delhi University. He is a distinguished alumnus of IIT, Roorkee, Fellow of Indian Chemical Society and an alumnus of Harvard Business School. With over 30 years experience at Tata Group, he has held various responsibilities across the Chemical, Automotive and Hospitality sectors of the Tata Group. He serves on industry forums and impact organizations. He is currently Vice President – CII for FY 2024-25.
