Introduction :

Today’s employee is young, dynamic and AI-aware, wants speed and growth, and expects to be heard, valued, and coached rather than directed by the manager or just left to learn on their own by making mistakes.

This 2-day, in-person workshop takes Managers and Leaders on a journey from being Directive Leaders to becoming Facilitative Leaders.

This workshop explores the magic of facilitation in hosting meetings, discussions and sessions with team-members, helping leaders promote high engagement by selecting the right facilitation method for the moment. It builds psychological safety, invites diverse voices, and converges those voices into meaningful, co-owned outcomes.

The wonder of facilitation is that even if the methods are followed in the way they are designed, the leader’s behaviours automatically move towards inclusiveness and openness thus making the team-members feel heard, valued & respected.

This workshop focuses on 3 key constructs to create impact: Mindset (Directive vs. Facilitative Leader), Method (a repertoire of facilitation tools), and Mastery (practising and receiving feedback on live facilitation).

Workshop Outline:

  • Being a Facilitative Leader: Directive vs. Facilitative
  • Uncovering ourselves as Managers & Leaders: positions, relatability and diversity
