About the Plant
Siemens Kalwa is one of Siemens’ oldest manufacturing locations in India, established in 1966 and spread across approximately 1,83,000 sq. m. The site brings together advanced manufacturing, innovation, testing, training, and digital capabilities, supported
by facilities such as the Switchgear and Switchboard factories, Advanced Motor Testing Center, Siemens Technical Academy and GAVATAR. Sustainability is embedded across the campus through onsite and offsite solar power, water recycling, waste circularity, green infrastructure, and energy-efficiency initiatives. Through its 4R approach Renew, Restore, Reuse and Recycle, Kalwa is enhancing its industrial legacy while strengthening decarbonization, resource efficiency and Industry 4.0 readiness positioning the site as a resilient and future-ready manufacturing ecosystem.
