The Bombay Chamber’s Insurance Summit India 2025 will bring together regulators, insurers, and innovators on August 8 in Mumbai to shape the future of India’s insurance sector. As the country works toward the IRDAI’s “Insurance for All by 2047” vision, this summit will spotlight opportunities in non-life insurance, policy reform, and digital transformation.
The Bombay Chamber’s Insurance Summit 2026, themed “Enhancing Insurance Penetration & Density in India,” is being organised under the aegis of the Chamber’s BFSI Committee. The summit will be held on 29th May 2026 at ITC Grand Hotel, Mumbai, from 9:30 AM onwards.
India’s USD 222 billion insurance industry stands at the threshold of a defining transformation. Driven by rapid digital innovation, increasing consumer awareness, and progressive regulatory reforms, the sector is evolving into a key pillar of economic resilience and inclusive growth. As the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) advances its vision of “Insurance for All by 2047,” the need for meaningful dialogue and collaborative action has never been more critical.
In this context, the Insurance Summit 2026 will serve as a dynamic platform to explore strategic priorities, innovations, and emerging challenges across life, non-life, health, and new risk categories. The summit will also highlight the role of insurance in deepening financial inclusion, strengthening institutional risk management, and aligning with India’s broader development agenda.
