Context:
Before entering into any market, every business should know the risks associated with it. In order to manage such risks, a well defined Risk Management strategies should be implemented which lowers the chances of failure.
Risk management is the process of identifying and assessing the impact on business and its probability to arise. These risks stem from a variety of sources including financial uncertainties, legal liabilities, technology issues, strategic management errors, accidents and natural disasters. A successful risk management program helps an organization consider the full range of risks it faces. It also examines the relationship between risks and the cascading impact they could have on an organization’s strategic goals.
Key Objective:
The seminar will offer an overview on typical risks faced by Indian exporters in recent times. It will also focus on the various risk management services offered by ECGC for facilitating export trade.
Speaker Profiles :
Mr. R K Pandian is the DGM & Regional Manager (Western Region) for ECGC Ltd. He has served ECGC for more than 26 years. He has taken up several leadership roles and challenges at various capacities across multiple states in India.
Mr. Mihir Shah is an Advisor, Consultant, and Trainer in International Business. With expertise in Foreign Trade Policy, GST, FEMA, RBI, and Customs, he offers consultancy and advisory services to various Exporters and Industries in India and Abroad.
