Mr. Arun Jeya Prakash is a DGCA Certified Drone pilot and a passionate aero-modeler. His interest lies in making use of Drone technology to solve real-life problems pertaining to various sectors. He completed his B.E. in Electronics & Instrumentation and Master of Engineering (M.E) in Avionics from Madras Institute of Technology.
He has more than a decade of experience in Research & Teaching. Taking a step ahead towards his dream of creating technological products or solutions for a better India, he has started his own venture Aviocian Technologies Pvt. Ltd, to touch many lives. He has helped Academic Institutions in establishing degree programs of MTech. Avionics and MTech, UAV, He has also helped in establishment of Avionics Lab, Flight Simulator Lab, Drone Lab and Advanced Surveying lab in academic institutions. Since its inception in the last three years, he has trained more than 4500 students, faculty, researchers and Government officials in Drone Technology. He has also successfully executed commercial projects like coffee estate survey, Infrastructure survey, Watershed management using Drone Technology.
Presently, he is also an adjunct faculty in B.S Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai, Aerospace Department where he handles technical subjects related to UAV/MAV for B.Tech. and MTech. students.
He is also Life time member in Aeronautical Society of India and Life time member in Indian Society of Remote Sensing.
