Objective :

Feedback is inarguably one of the most potent tools for shaping behavior and fostering performance. But its efficacy in guiding and motivating people is often underestimated, and managers, lost in the labyrinth of transactions, and reeling under the pressure of targets, sometimes fall short in their responsibility towards observing, monitoring and sharing feedback on performance and behavior in real time. Perceived as difficult and distasteful, developmental feedback is often evaded or postponed.


The intent of this session is to take the participants through an experiential journey and equip them with insights and frameworks to render the task of giving and receiving feedback easier.

Why is feedback important?

The framework for giving feedback
·     The AID model for positive and developmental feedback
      o   Action - describe the behaviour / performance with examples
      o   Impact - stress the impact
      o   Decision – Facilitate an insight and drive action by asking for views and generating an action plan

·     Prepare meticulously
      o   Understand the performance pipeline and identify gaps - lack of skill, will or accountability

Charu embarked on an enriching and challenging journey in the field of people and organizational development after a successful corporate stint wherein she spearheaded Human Resources, Learning & Development and Operations at Morgan Stanley, Capgemini, Datamatics and NIIT.  She started Delta Learning, an organizational development and training company, in 2012 and has trained and coached more than 8000 people in 50 organizations, across 6 industries in the areas of Leadership, Personal Effectiveness and Diversity.
