Prevention of Sexual Harassment at Workplace: Role of leadership in creating safe workplaces - Mar 05, 2021

The global #MeToo movement, which gained momentum in India in 2018, highlighted the problem of sexual harassment at workplace and the need for organisations and leadership to take decisive action against this malaise. Based on the precepts of the 1997 Supreme Court judgment in Vishaka vs State of Rajasthan, India legislated on the subject in the form of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 (“POSH Act”). Unfortunately, awareness about this subject remains low and and consequently implementation of the POSH Act has been weak.

This webinar is designed to create awareness regarding the POSH Act, with a special focus on the role of leadership in creating safe workplaces.
