Webinar on the proposed role of Risk Management Committee - consultation paper of SEBI - Dec 21, 2020

SEBI has invited comments on the consultation paper on applicability and role of Risk Management Committees. SEBI proposes to amend the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 to bring in greater focus on RMC. Issues like terms of reference of risk management committee, frequency of meetings, risk mitigation,  focus on Business Continuity Plan and power to seek assistance from external agencies are proposed. Will it lead to a paradigm shift in the way risk management committees operate? An understanding of these proposed amendments and the implication on the listed companies  is therefore necessary.
