Bombay Chamber is pleased to organize Virtual Training on Simple IT Tools to Control your Costs on 28th September, 30th September & 1st October 2020 - 11.30am  to 1.00pm


Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, Businesses are keen to save costs. They are unsure about high investments in new techniques to save costs. However, no company can afford a free flow of unknown/uncontrolled costs any more. 


Costs on account of wastages/inefficiencies in sourcing, design, production, storage, maintenance and unavailability of human resources etc. could cost dearly. The cumulative effect of these costs could be huge. On the other hand, if we identify, measure, analyse and control these costs then it could bring substantial savings. 


In an effort to help businesses identify, measure, analyse and control these costs, Bombay Chamber has organised this Series of Online Sessions. The Sessions aim to address these issues and provide simple IT solutions for cost control.

Session 1 – “MS Excel Tools for Low Cost Manufacturing”

  •   Minimise operating costs across key operational inefficiency areas

  •   Track daily occurrences of unforeseen incidents

  •   Track and prioritise vital indicators every week

  •   Get insights into causes for increase in operating costs and possible solutions  


Session 3 - “Simple IT Tools for Value Stream Mapping to Optimize Deliveries”
  •  Using simple Process Assessment based Cost Elimination Tools for optimising product/service delivery by streamlining an end to end business processes. With this inexpensive yet effective tool developed in MS Excel, SMEs can segregate and track value added and non-value-added activities and monitor them on a daily basis.
