Context :

The COVID-19 pandemic crisis has been an important turning point for many economies around the world. All segments of the economy and all wheels of economic growth have significantly affected due to the Lock Downs and the changes in the direction of the Exim Trade. The key challenges of financing the recovery may include Foreign Direct Investments, Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Gender diversity, support to vulnerable business communities, tax structures and more importantly an agile regulatory framework which will facilitate rebuilding of the businesses and getting the economy to the next normal/higher levels of growth.

This requires policies that promote domestic manufacturing and services as well as provide a liveable environment for human capital to maximise its potential. The short -term and medium-term challenges w.r.t. employment level, social distancing, social security, public health facilities, transport need continuous attention of policy institutions and enterprises so as to have dialogues with bureaucracy and private sector players leading towards implementation of feasible and competitive solutions.

This webinar will engage national and international experts in finance, urban infrastructure and public policy to suggest realistic and India relevant strategies to deal with issues related to financing of economic recovery in the post pandemic period.
