Introduction :

Lean thinking and practice lead organizations on continuous improvement journey making the organization both innovative and competitive. Lean is about creating value for the customer while minimizing resources, time, energy and effort. A lean approach to work is about understanding what’s going on at the work place, the value creation process, and improving the process. Lean is a problem-solving technique that can be applied to any industry.  One does not require sophisticated tools and techniques to understand and implement Lean.
