Overview :

Blockchain technology is the next age of the internet. Today, we can exchange cross-border information such as email directly from sender to recipient. in the age of blockchain, people will be able to send anything of value including money, titles, deeds, music, art, scientific discoveries, intellectual property and many more. It provides the strongest case yet for international trade, since blockchain has the potential of establishing a framework where supplier can deal safely and directly with the buyer. But what impact does it have on global prices and most importantly our businesses in the future?

  •   Blockchain

BlockChain is next Technological Up-Gradation in the area of Shipping & Logistics, Marine Insurance and Banking & Finance. In other words, it covers the entire Ecosystem of International Trade. Complete paperless documentation process for clearance of imported goods & exported goods (filing Bill Of Entry & Shipping Bill electronically) have been in progress. Therefore, International Trade community must understand the concept of Blockchain

  •   Refund of State Levies

Textile Ministry has floated a scheme to refund *ROSL* for Textile Exports. Relevance of the scheme will be explained so that, getting similar assistance for other industries like Chemicals, Engineering etc. can be implemented.

  •   Future of Export Incentives

Incentives like MEIS & EPCG are being questioned at WTO by countries like USA, EU etc. etc. The questions are raised due to India has achieved US $ 1000 per capita income for three consecutive years i.e. for 2013,2014 & 2015 and therefore India is not eligible for granting subsidies as per provisions of Anti Subsidy an Countervailing Measures (ASCM). This issue will be discussed in depth in light of actual provisions.
