Introduction :

In a professional world there are many fast changes and employees need to be equipped to deal with them. Employees need to be confident to take accountability and right decisions at right time. People may not always be experienced but potential in them can be utilized effectively as they can be groomed. The best form of learning can be through mentoring and coaching. The terms  ‘coaching’ and ‘mentoring’  used interchangeably in a personal and organizational development context. Wherever these are used, the success of these development approaches is dependent upon many factors, the skills of the individual mentor or coach, and the emphasis that is placed on learning and development in the organizational context. While mentoring may be solution focused, coaching helps employee see if it is needed to develop personally, either to more effectively to reach personal or work goals or to better deal with current work issues ,develop their skills in leadership, self-management and learning, and increase resilience , managing team and self-awareness.

This interactive program helps to understand one's style and explore skills needed to facilitate the process of mentoring and coaching.

A Therapist and Psychologist with over 22 years of experience. She is the Co Founder of AasthaChrysalis - Counseling Center in Mumbai and is involved in individual consultation, psychometric assessments and development center programs. She is a Post Graduate from Mumbai University in Counseling, Certified Trainer in Presentation Skills form Delta College Michigan and Situational Self Leadership II from Ken and  Blanchard.
