Workshop On Marine Cargo Insurance - Claims And Documentation - Dec 19, 2018

Introduction :

The most important thing in marine claims settlement, is the collation of various shipping and insurance papers. To assist you in ensuring quick and judicious settlement, Bombay Chamber is organizing a half day workshop on Marine Cargo Claims and Documentation on Wednesday 19th December, 2018.


Objective :

This session aims to assist participants to understand in-depth analysis of cargo claims and documentations.

It shall also answer the following key questions :

  •  How can you ensure that your claim is recoverable under your Marine Insurance policy?

Capt. Mukesh Gautama :

He is presently Managing Director of Wilson Surveyors and Adjusters Pvt.  Ltd. who are Lloyd’s Agents in India, Nepal and Bhutan. He sailed with Shipping Corporation of India and was in command of Cargo ships and Bulk Carriers.  Thereafter, he joined Tata Tea Ltd. and was promoted as General Manager, looking after their Lloyd’s Agency Division.  He was awarded 1st Prize in Fellowship Examination of Narottam Morarjee Institute of Shipping and has passed Associateship Examination conducted by Association of Average Adjusters – United Kingdom. He has passed with distinction Diploma in P&I insurance conducted by South Tyneside College –England. He is a Fellow of Indian Institute of Insurance Surveyors and Loss Assessors and The Company of Master Mariners of India.
