  •  Systematic approach for preparing Safe Work Method  Statement (SWMS).

  •  Manual & Mechanical Material Handling.

 

Day 2
  •  Road Safety and its importance 

  •  Work At Heights - Introduction to Work At Heights (WAH),Hazards Identification and Risk Assessment, Introduction to Controls,

  •  Control Measures, Lifting of Load, SWMS, Accident Management & Safety Commitment.

  •  Confined space: Hazards, Permit to Work system, Access & Egress approach & rescue drill; Rigging of Tripod, Winch & Retractable Fall Arrestor and Entry & Exit requirements Permit to Work (PTW).

  •  Lock Out & Tag Out (LOTO): Understanding the basic concept,work applications, LOTO management.Critical to Safety, Inspection and use of Power Tools.

  •  6 Golden Rules of Electrical Safety.

  •  Hot work – Welding, Grinding and Gas cutting.

  •  Accident Investigation and root cause – Why – Why- Analysis. 

  •  Occupational Health and Ergonomics.

 

Expected Outcomes : 
Each participant will be able to apply and implement the acquired knowledge and skill
  •  Preparation and Execution of detailed safety plan

  •  Carrying out onsite Hazard identification, Risk assessment and mitigation

  •  Monitoring and Controlling Safety KPI.
