Overview :

The strategy and strategic management has got prominence in last couple of decades. New tools and techniques have come up for strategy formulation and implementation. These tools have become very successful with managers, who are looking for quick fix solutions to problems faced by organizations. The essence of strategy is not adoption of these tools, though these are important, but essence of strategy is way managers, strategists think and approach problems. 

 

“Strategic thinking” is like “Customer Service”. If asked every company will vouch for customer service. The reality is well known by consumers like us. Similarly, everyone claims to have strategic thinking. The fact is understood by the sustained performance of enterprises across the board.
