Workshop on GST Implications and Provisions in Union Budget 2018-19 - Feb 23, 2018

In recent times we have seen a marked increase in the number of firms / companies which are getting into international business. In order to provide them a Structured Overview of International Business Environment and Regulatory framework we have organised this Workshop.


The Workshop will focus on Getting Started with Exports / Imports, Foreign Trade Policy and Procedures, Documentation requirements and Incentives available GST Implications and Provisions of Union Budget 2018-19 relating to Exports and Imports.  It will cover:

1.  Exploring Export Business, Executing Export Orders and concluding the export business, Incentives for Exports, Documentation requirements for exports and Imports, Export Pricing, Export Logistics - Packing, Freight Calculations and INCO Terms


2.  Provisions of the Foreign Trade Policy - Mandatory requirements for commencing export business, Provisions of the Customs Law, Rules/Regulations, FEMA regulations etc.


3. Provisions of GST relating to Exports and Imports

The Introduction of GST has changed the compliance regime for entities engaged in domestic as well as International Business. The framework of registration, procedure to obtain permission for sealing, execution of Bond, procedure for notifying the concerned authorities and clearance of goods for exports, filing of rebate claims, obtaining input credits/refund etc. need to be thoroughly understood by the industry to ensure proper compliance. We will provide information about the latest updates.


4. Provisions of Union Budget 2018-19 relating to Export and Imports
