Background :

Business organizations are the relatively a new form of collective life along with family and society. Path ways of Yoga were propounded much before the existence of kind of business organizations we see and work with in the current times. However, meaning of our organizational lives inevitably linked to pursue a meaningful life on the whole. The pursuit of meaning in a deep and intense way is a spiritual quest. The different pathways of Yoga are the means to quench the spiritual quest as well.

About the Facilitator :

Mr. Ashish Pandey, Associate Professor, School of Management of (IIT)Bombay in Mumbai.

The session will be based on the scientific research on the Yoga at workplace. This will be offered as a judicious mix of discussion, reflection and Yoga based practices.

This session is based on a decade long research studies of Prof Ashish Pandey on spirituality and yoga at workplace and its connection with Positive Psychology and human potential enhancement. 

His research on impact of Yoga and workplace spirituality is published in many reputed national and international scientific journals like Journal of Business Ethics, IIMB Management Review, and Business Ethics: European Review etc. His most recent work on Mindfulness and Moral Reasoning has received appreciation in the scientific community as well as in popular media.
