Workshop on Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 - Jul 19, 2017

Waltz through RERA !

Getting your projects registered is not enough. The Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 (RERA) is aimed at infusing the sector with professionalism. It is the SEBI of Indian realty business. Realtors will have to tread their path with great caution. Unfulfilled promises, misleading advertisements, diversions of funds, delay in transfer of the projects are just the tip of the iceberg. To understand the far reaching effects of RERA along with the Rules thereunder, we have organized an event on Friday July 14, 2017.

The event shall not only benefit flats purchasers, real estate developers and agents but also financiers reeling from the spillover effect of RERA. The overview shall include financing transaction documents, permissible withdrawals from the designated account.

Besides, new insights into RERA and its Rules, popular misconceptions shall be dispelled. Chief, amongst them, is that of giving Maharashtra Ownership Flats Act, 1963 (MOFA) an untimely burial.  It’s too early to sound its death knell. Participants shall learn to negotiate the rough terrain of RERA and MOFA, and waltz right through it.
