Workshop on : Effective Time Management - Jun 23, 2017

Introduction :

Time Management is important but often ignored skill. One cannot just become an expert by a noble intention; rather he/she needs to actively workout to become proficient in time management for better personal and professional life. It not only takes skills to master, but attitudes as well. Awareness is one thing; application is another.

 

Objectives:

  •  To be aware of the mind states that cause procrastination

  •  To Understand the procrastination and ‘do nothingism’ cycle

  •  To enhance one’s work motivation by avoiding delays

  •  To know importance of prioritizing and  handle customers timely 

  •  To enhance planning of time and understand Quadrant Two activities

  •   Goal setting in different scenarios and forming personal development plans

Program Flow :

1) Team activity to break the ice and introduce the concept of managing time
   Discussion on what are and what factors lead to time wastage and role of one’s mind state which can contribute to time wasters
   Personality test on knowing your self
   Understanding reasons for procrastination and why it develops and overcoming it
 
2) Time Management to increase work efficiency & effectiveness by reducing unproductive activities:
   * Priority Matrix or the Quadrants of Time Management -Prioritizing work and understanding the Time Matrix according to the quadrants
   * Ways and methods of becoming a Quadrant 2 Leader
   * Application of the learning from Quadrant 2- role plays in different scenarios
   * Discussion on Importance of Planning
 
3) Goal setting - importance and creating development plans for self and review 

 

Participation Level :

The workshop is designed for Executives/Managers and middle Management level staff from all functional areas.

Ms. Malini Shah: A Therapist and Psychologist with over 22 years of experience. She is the Co Founder of AasthaChrysalis - Counseling Center in Mumbai and is involved in individual consultation, psychometric assessments and development center programs. She is a Post Graduate from Mumbai University in Counseling, Certified Trainer in Presentation Skills form Delta College Michigan and Situational Self Leadership II from Ken and Blanchard.
