The Govt of Maharashtra has notified Levels of Restrictions for Breaking the Chain in different parts of State based on conditions in respect of each district/administrative unit not only to break the chain of transmission but also to restart various economic and social activities without foregoing the gains achieved through measures of restrictions
The level of restrictions shall be applied based on two parameters: CASE POSITIVITY RATE & PERCENTAGE OF OXYGEN BEDS OCCUPANCY.
FIVE levels of restrictions have been declared along with the criteria and general guiding principles.
Operationalisation of the levels of restrictions shall be as follows:
a. Every Thursday the Public Health Dept of the State will declare the number of oxygen beds occupied at the State Level, positivity rate and oxygen beds occupation percentage in each district.
b. The District Management Authority will, based on the above mentioned parameters, after disaggregating these parameters for various administrative units in its jurisdiction shall decide, subject to State Level Oxygen trigger, as per Section IV, which level of restrictions should be imposed in which administrative units as per the prescribed guidelines.
c. The restriction level, if there is any change, will come into effect from the following Monday.
