The Expert Committee on Banking, Finance & Economics has been constituted by amalgamating three existing Committees, namely the expert committees on Banking & Finance, Capital Markets and Economic Policy & Corporate Strategy. The objective is to approach related issues in a unified way and to avoid overlap between committees on common subjects. However, three separate expert groups will continue to address specific issues in their area of expertise.
The Banking & Finance Group covers issues related to Banking and Non-Banking Financial Companies and issues of Financial Inclusion and Micro Finance. The Economic Policy & Affairs Group will focus on issues related to Economic Policy and Corporate Strategy.
